On May 14th, 2024, Mitobi Integrated Services, a pioneering security and electronics company, was honored by the National Association of Northern Nigerian Students (NANNS) for its remarkable contributions to youth empowerment, education, and philanthropy.
Founded in 2010, Mitobi integrated services has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to fostering youth development. The driving force behind this mission is Mr. Michael Michael Ikhuoria, the CEO, whose entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to empowering young people have been evident throughout his thirty-year career.
Mr. Michael Ikhuoria’s journey began with a barbershop and a photography studio in Benin city Edo state , where he not only provide jobs but also trained numerous young individuals. These businesses, now run by the next generation, is a testament to his sustainable approach to entrepreneurship.
Building on these successes, Mr. Michael Ikhuoria co-founded World Wide Net, a computer and communication business, with Dr. Okafor. This venture furthered their mission of youth empowerment, training hundreds of young people, and providing employment opportunities for many, particularly in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Workdwide Net is still helping the youth in Nigeria delta for youth capacity building.

Most of the youths engaged has minimal to no experience, often lacking even the Secondary School Certificate. We encourage them to obtain their Secondary School Certificate and subsequently gain admission into higher institutions . Many of them pursue part-time studies while working at Mitobi, and we make their working hours flexible to accommodate their educational commitments.
This holistic approach has enabled numerous individuals to further their education while gaining valuable work experience. Many have successfully balanced their work and studies, demonstrating their dedication and determination to improve their circumstances.
The award ceremony was a significant event, starting with an opening prayer and the national anthem. Four representatives from NANNS were present to honor Mr. Michael Ikhuoria’s contributions. They praised his dedication to educational development and community service, presenting him with a Certificate of Excellence, a medal, and an award recognizing him as an ICON OF SOCIETAL DEVELOPMENT.
